A lot of two mid century Israeli Pat Bell bronze plates by Zeev Raban. The center of each plate features an embossed figure, surrounded by Hebrew inscription. It is marked on the bottom with the makers mark and Made in Israel. One is marked to the bottom with an impressed mark. Another has a paper label on the back side. Zeev Raban, 1890 to 1970 was a leading painter, decorative artist, and industrial designer of the Bezalel School style, and one of the founders of the Israeli art world. He was known for his works that combined traditional Jewish themes with European art movements, and this plate is representative of that fusion. Vintage Israeli Decorative Plates For Collectors.
