An officer's sword with a handle carved from bone with an openwork hilt decorated with gilding and the image of eagles with shields. Engraving at the base of the sword: J. C. Sherwood Stamford Conn. Engraved on the blade: Gen. Jos. Warren Commandery №8 L.L.O.U.A.M. (Loyal Legion of United American Mechanics). Completed with beautiful metal scabbard with gilded details.
