A collection of black and white antique etchings of different French academic paintings printed by Gebbie and Co, a British photogravure workshop which was most prominent in the 1880-1890s. The engravings were commissioned by Goupil and Cie, a French auction house. A total of three items. Eugene Girardet, A Bad Day. Pierre Georges Jeanniot, Exercise On the Esplanade of the Invalides. Condition
Overall good antique condition. Signs of age and wear. Yellowing, stains, spots, damage at the edges and on the corners. Refer to photos. Sold As Is.
