The sculpture depicts Napoleon Bonaparte, French, 1769 to 1821, on horseback, after Jacques Louis David, French, 1748 to 1825, the original oil painting on canvas, Napoleon Crossing the Alps, 1801. Signed and marked in blue on the base. An original paper label is attached. Presented on a wooden stand. The second: an Italian green patinated porcelain sculpture, Roman Warrior Riding a Chariot Pulled by Two Horses, 1997, sculptured by Amilcare Santini, Italian, 1910 to 1975.
