George Barrie, three original 1893 and 1894 photoengravings after the paintings titled Moliere Reading to His Servant La Foret by Carl Schloesser, La Fete Dieu by Albert Aublet, A Public Market in Moscow, 1879 by V. E. Makovsky. All exhibited at the Worlds Columbian Exposition, entitled in pencil and sealed with the impressed stamps, copyrighted in the plates. From 1893 to 1895 the Philadelphia printer and publisher, George Barrie, was at work upon a large and lavish series of original engravings detailing exhibits of the fine art from participating countries at the exposition.
