George Barrie, three original 1893 and 1894 photoengravings after the paintings titled On the Yacht Namouna, Venice, 1890 by Jules L. Stewartt, A Narrow Escape by H. Schnars Alquist, and The Ferry by Walter Osborne. All exhibited at the Worlds Columbian Exposition, entitled in pencil and sealed with the impressed stamps, copyrighted in the plates. From 1893 to 1895 the Philadelphia printer and publisher, George Barrie, was at work upon a large and lavish series of original engravings detailing exhibits of the fine art from participating countries at the exposition.
