An antique late 19th-century Russian Orthodox icon representing Jesus in the Christ Pantocrator iconography, known in the Western Christianity as Christ in Majesty. Mixed media painting: egg tempera, gesso, and levkas on a wood board. The icon is enclosed in a gilt silver riza or oklad, a protecting case with repousse work.
