An antique Chinese Late Ming Dynasty bronze incense burner. The incense burner is made in the form of a goose. The wings of the goose are also the lid of the incense holder. The feathers are done with great naturalism. Circa: late 19th century. The design for this kind of items can be traced back to the late Ming Dynasty, a period in which nature inspired pieces gained popularity, especially after Emperor Wan Li era.
