Description
An antique WWI German Imperial M1898 bayonet for the Mauser rifle which was the principal arm of the German army fearing an edged blade with a central fuller, stamped Simpson and Co. Suhl to the ricasso, a steel crossguard with upswept quillon, numbered, and a wooden grip with a steel pommel having a button.
