A WWII Nazi German Luftwaffe Paratrooper gravity knife. A steel blade construction with a riveted wood handle. Marked, R B NR 0 0561 0019, on the ricasso, and numbered 612. The Fallschirmjager were the paratrooper branch of the German Luftwaffe before and during World War II. They were the first German paratroopers to be committed in large scale airborne operations.
