Description
A Chinese trinket box with a hinged lid for jewelry or cigarettes with a jade plaque on the top. Republic of China era, 1912 to 1949. A wooden box in a gilt brass case with hand-chased floral decoration. The lid is garnished with a carved jadeite medallion, as well as four characters symbolizing blessing.
