Description
A large Russian gilt silver footed egg casket. The egg consists of two hinged halves with clasp. Shaded cloisonne enamel surface, floral ornaments and swan motif. A carved rock crystal swan figurine is mounted inside the casket on a cobalt blue guilloche enamel pedestal. Hallmark of 88 silver standard and makers marks are on bottom and on the inside.
