Description
An antique American silver plated teapot with hinged Lid by Hartford Silver Plate Co. Circa 1881 to 1893. The teapot has etched relief floral decor on the body. The neck of the teapot has a raised cylindrical shape, also decorated with flowers. Marked Hartford Silver Plate Co and numbered 1411 on the bottom. Hartford Silver Plate Co. was listed in Hartford City Directories from 1881 through 1893 as manufacturers of electroplated holloware. Vintage American Silverware And Drinkware Collectibles.
