Color woodblock print by Sadanobu Hasegawa III, 1881 to 1963, a Japanese ukiyo-e artist known for his mix of traditional and modern. The artwork depicts a portrait of a samurai. Ca. 1950s. Signed by the artist in the upper left. Titled Yanone, Arrow Head. Yanone is one of the Ichikawa familys famous 18 kabuki plays, based on a 12th-century vendetta story. Published by Uchida Wood-Block Printing Co. Ltd. Label sticker on the backside. Green mat, metal frame. Collectible Contemporary Oriental Art Prints.
