The piece is a full-length ceremonial portrait of a child monarch. Signed by the artist in the lower right, F. Mason. Golden frame. Charles II of Spain, 1661 to 1700, was the last Spanish king of the House of Habsburg. The original painting is now in the collection of the Museum Hermitage, Amsterdam.
