Description

A figural Russian Art Nouveau style 88 silver and enamel kovsh. The kovsh is made in the shape of a chicken with a figural head and a single handle. A gilt wash interior. The exterior of the kovsh is enameled with multicolor floral, foliage and geometrical patterns made in the Cloisonne technique. Marked with the 88 Russian silver standard hallmark, and other Cyrillic and Assay marks, on the bottom. Russian Silver Wares, Table Wares, Home Decor, and Collectibles. Total weight: 288.47 g.
