Attributed to Constant Nieuwenhuijss, better known as Constant, 1920 to 2005, mixed media painting on masonite board depicting an Expressionist composition. Signed lower right. Framed. Constant is known for Expressionist painting, sculptor, graphics, writing, architecture. In 1946 Constant travelled to Paris for the first time where he met the young Danish painter Asger Jorn. The friendship between Jorn and Constant later formed the basis for the avant garde movement CoBrA. Modern and Contemporary European Fine Art, Expressionist Paintings, and Collectibles.
