An antique Russian silver enamel badge of completion of the Elisavetgrad Cavalry School. The badge features a silver eagle with raised wings, the heads of which lie on a green enamel ribbed circle. At the top of the badge is the monogram of Emperor Alexander, below is the year the school was founded: 1865. On the eagles chest is a white Maltese cross with the Moscow coat of arms.
