Standing up on the stirrup, the loving wife escorts her warrior husband with a farewell kiss. The sculpture stands on a base molded with the naturalistic ground. It is placed on a white, wooden base. Signed on the base. Marked with a manufacturer stamps on the bottom. The model was created in 1878 and originally cast in bronze at the Felix Chopin establishment. The theme of the parting of a Cossack with a Cossack woman was also reflected in the bronze sculptures of Vasily Grachev and Albert Moritz Wolf.
