A lot of two rare vintage prints on aper by Marc Chagall. The first is a Self portrait with a palette created in ink with patterned prints (lace and embroidery) on paper, signed in print lower right. Both prints are matted, hand inscribed verso. And the second is Behind the village, 1916, depicting a row of buildings sliding down the right shoulder of a man, signed in print lower left. Marc Chagall was an early modernist associated with the Ecole de Paris, as well as several major artistic styles and created works in a wide range of artistic formats.
